Change the 'wand' for an axe and shield and I could definitely use the 'summoner' figure. The face and clothing look very well done.

That sure is a mixed bag of news. The Asterix series are quite fun I think. The mounted Napoleon is an amazing piece. Sure would love to have that one. Thanks for the news update Rudi.

Absolutely not. Always been a big A&O fan. Btw "Asterix and the vikings" made by a Danish movie company, premiered in Danish cinemas early june. The most expensive cartoon ever made in Europe. Those who have seen it, sayes it's great. I plan to see it, with my daughter, very soon. I wonder how one should paint the Asterix figures. Paint them in uniform colors or try to paint them as historical figures(Shading/highlights)

I too am a A&O fan been reading the comics for years _my younger brothers fault- he brought them home from the Library) Costas Trust you to think of that Little village Would love to see a piece done On the Gerard De pedue (can't spell his name) Oberlisk - he really captured the manner of my favourite character Ian

I would paint them in their natural cartoon colors with shading and highlights but with strong contrasts and vivid colros. Thats my call !!!
