The next release from its WWII Military Miniatures Series focuses on pistols, rifles, automatic weapons as well as related infantry equipment and accessories.
German Infantry Weapons & Equipment (35247) contains a total of 179 parts in plastic and photo-etched components, as well as a decal sheet.

More than just weapons and its accessories, the kit provides for other items such as helmets, cases, scaled maps and magazine covers, even a camera!

It appears to be quite an interesting release given the variety of items in one kit.

Another attack on my budget! There are some very smart marketing people working at Miniart, every new item is a hit. For sure, a US and UK set will follow, I bet. Thanks for the review: very helpfull

Great set. Can't wait to get some. Totally agree with padawan_82 that Dragon should have done a similar set with Gen 2 equipment.

Odd that there's no G43

WOW! This is a must for me. The gewehr 41 is my favorite firearm of all time. I love using the less popular small arms the Germans used in WW2 like the G-41, MG-13, MG-15, MG-26, MG-37, MP-28, MP-34, MP-35, MP-41 and even the Beretta 38A mp 739(i) and Suomi KP/31 (m31).

Like some of the options that this set offers: the scope-equipped Kar 98k, or the MP28 and 34 offer some real interesting possibilities. On my "To Get" list it goes!

And spectacles!

Looks like a great set. Wondering about the helmets though...the last four in the upper rows are in a "Plane Tree" pattern, but they appear painted directly on the helmets, not shown as fabric covers...same for the last two in the lower rows in splinter camo. I don't recall seeing painted helmets like that in any archival photos. Maybe it's just some quick digital shorthand, and they are including helmets with fabric covers. It's hard to tell.

Now this is one set I will definitely get. I've got a few boxes of the old Dragon German Weapon sets 1 & 2 which despite their age are still pretty good for the lesser used German small arms but with these being new mouldings.... A couple of years back I bought the MB SS farm thieves set which had their weapons set included as a freebie. While everything was nicely moulded everything looked a bit anorexic, very much like the old Tamiya weapons set. In fact scalewise they appeared to be the same something like 1/40th, definitely not 1/35th. This however looks like a one stop shop for German kit. The cameras a great idea. Stacks of uses for that one. Same as what appears to be a Browning Hi Power! Strange that there's no G43 though. With the Panzerfaust set as well we can now arm our figures and fill vehicles with clutter very esily. I don't know if anyone else has thought along the same lines but with these new German kit sets can we now expect a multitude of new German figures? Hope so. For me Miniart are equal to Dragon quality wise with figures but a lot more interesting. They appear to look at what people are after rather than produce something that they hope will sell. For my money they're becoming the most innovative diorama/figure orientated manufacturer and have realised that some of us like to display our finished model in a dio not on a plinth or shelf. Looking forward to geting my hands on a set of these!

This may drag my poor carcass back into the hobby, along with the MG and the Panzerfaust sets. Now for some good late war figures to fit to them.
