New pigments and Figures from Mig
|
MIG productions have announced some new pigment sets as well as some interesting new figures and dio accessories.
Light European Earth
Light European Earth is a perfect pigment tone for dry earth and dust on AFVs and dioramas. This tone is also useful for creating dry cracked mud stuck in the tracks of a tank for example.
Fresh Rust
This important pigment tone perfectly represents fresh light rust on mild steel seen right after the rain. Fresh rust can also be used with our other rust toned pigments to create more various shades of oxidization on knocked out and abandoned vehicles.
1/35th Scale Futuristic Russian Tanker, Fantasy Series
This is the first figure in Mig's fantasy range due to numerous requests from customers after releasing the popular KV-2X Walking Tank. This figure is a continuation in the series of new vehicles and figures based on a fictional parallel world developed after the Second World War. Sporting a cool advanced gas mask, sophisticated AK47 and body armour, this Futuristic Russian Tanker will look great on a diorama next to the KV-2X or any other type of fantasy subject. This subject will also be a nice change for any figure painter looking for something fresh for their collection. .
1/35th US Special Forces Solder in Afghanistan
The US Special Forces Solder in Afghanistan is yet another release from the former celebrated Think-One-Eighty Studios series. This figure is perfect for all AFVs, vignettes and dioramas about Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo and most other conflicts happening around the world today.
1/35th U.S. Infantryman (Iraqi Freedom) No. 2
This U.S. Infantryman (Iraqi Freedom) No. 2 is also from the former popular Think-One-Eighty Studios range. This carefully researched figure is cast in fine resin containing a semi-action position that will add a feeling of motion your diorama about Iraq or Afghanistan.
1/72nd Scale Russian Industrial Lamp
A simple feature that will give character to any 1/72nd Eastern European vignette or diorama. This lamp contains a transparent resin light that is easy to paint making this accessory more genuine.
1/35th Scale Cobblestone Street Section (two pieces)
This set containing two detailed sections is an inexpensive quick solution when in need of a detailed cobblestone road in your diorama. The rough used look of the stones portrays a rustic appearance still observed on old streets throughout Europe today. The pieces are cast in resin so they can be easily cut to fit any base.

Thanks! Tarok Good to see Jeff's 2 figures re-released :) The futuristic Russian looks interesting. Personally I feel it more futuristic than the walkers, but that's just me - I'd have liked it a bit more "reigned in" and based closer to WWII, like the walkers. As I said though, still a nice looking, alternative figure :)
Anyone know who the sculptor was?
Thanks for posting, Pat.
Rudi :) Maki Yes, very nice to see Jeff's figures back on the market. I'm still surprised how long it took for MIG to re-release them... it seems it has been quite a while since MIG bought the figure molds from Think180.
Mario martyncrowther That OIF guy looks great, some nice figures there! :-H CMOT I am not impressed with the 1/35th U.S. Infantryman (Iraqi Freedom) No. 2 as the stance just looks off, the rest looks very good though.
