Just a sneak peek of the new 1/16 figure from Alpine Miniatures: a Fallschirmjager sniper!
After a long talk about this figure on another forum, we finally got some pictures of this masterpiece to show you. The photos of Taesung Harmms' newest sculpt appeared on San Eon Lee's blog... meaning he'll probably do the box art painting.

Stunning! If there are only 2 (more) large scale figures I buy this year it'll be Alpine's previous release (the stereotypical German officer) and this one. I haven't been following all the banter over on pF and TLF about this figure, but isn't this Taesung's first full 1/16 scale sculpt? (I say "full" because I'm fairly certain he's corrected of his other releases) Thanks for sharing, Mario Rudi

I agree, this really is a masterpiece. I'm tempted myself and I'm not usually that keen on WW2 stuff... I think you are right... Taesung did make some minor adjustments to Alpine 1/16 figures (made by other sculptors) and several weapons in the same scale, but AFAIK this is his first full 1/16 sculpt. He did a great job on the figure, the details really are amazing. Mario

I thought this was his second though, after the Young Grenadier 16007?
