Due to late announcment about the contest closing date for entries is postponed to 20.04.2011

Our sponsor's latest 120 mm release 12005 - 1st Polish Army Soldier, Berlin 1945 has won "Modell des Jahres 2011" title of Modell Fan Magazine at Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2011.


Adalbertus decided celebrate this succes by increasing stakes in our contest.

First prize is winner's choice 120 or 90 mm figure available from Adalbertus.com.pl shop + winner's choice Life Color (6 colors) paint set.

This will be my entry for the contest. It's a 75 mm fantasy figure sculpted by Steve Readdie. I painted the figure using mostly Vallejo acrylics. The heraldry on the surcoat and shield are hand painted.

This is my entry:

Liebstandarte SS Adolf Hitler Panzer Officer 200mm Bust

The bust is from Verlinden and was painted with Vallejo and Andrea acrylics. The only change I made was to discard the kit stand and mount it on a wood stand with a piece of hollow plastic tubing.

And yet another pic of my entry
I forgot to mention that the figure is a 1/35th scale figure from Masterclub of Russia and was painted using Reaper and Vallejo acrylics and MIG Pigments. The groundwork is largely the scenic base from the OOP Warriors trench raider with some odds and ends added like a rum jum from Resicast and the barrel of a Lewis gun also from Masterclub and PE barbed wire.
