Well , since sculpting is now part of my life , i really have to be serious about it .

This is the new figure of HF member Babis Stathis aka "aiantas ". Its a Greek Kleftarmatolos from 1821 rebellion against the turks.

So this is the master of the original kit, and thats the way it is released from Athens Miniatures , in shops (started on 19 of May to be released). I have indicated all the points i converted so you can watch more easier

As i had an evaluation copy , 2 weeks earlier , i thought that it would be pretty nice to perform a convertion, to give some more movement and action to the figure.

So you have just seen the points i touched on the indicated picture. See the finished product.

Thanks guys

well the precasting copy was a test one, with minor things to correct . The review will be on the commercial sample.

Awesome work my friend!!!

I have many sketches of Greek Freedom fighters, but have never given it a try. You work is inspiring. Great anatomy and very natural pose. And you know my personal love of great detail... sincerely this in one of the best I have seen in a long time.

not sure how to say it in Greek, but it hink it is έξοχος - excellent!

Hello brother,

Great conversion but superb painting as well. I think you have improved an already excellent figure.

Keep up the great work,

Gino

Hi again bro,

Looking at your figure again, I get more and more convinced that - as i said to you via email yesterday - I like your version much more than the original - with all due and greatest respect to the sculptor
